Chris Alan Craig

Chris CraigChris Alan Craig found his beginnings in the Delta of the Mississippi River Valley . Craig attributes where he comes from as being much of his motivation for the lively beer drinking and wild/exciting country singing stage manner that is seen at live shows. These early beginnings show through very clearly in the original music that Craig writes and performs for crowds all across the country.

Craig wrote his first song at the age of 14, and from here, he continued writing in hopes that maybe one of his songs would take on a life of its own one day. He continues this quest still today, drawing primarily from life experiences and monumental life events in order to tell any audience that will open an ear a genuine and sincere story. Craig's first live show was performed in a hole in the wall bar named Rooster's in Fort Smith , AR , in 2001. The crowd was so impressed by the Craig's unique style and lively stage presence that he didn't just play his set list once…but an all night drinking party broke out where several songs were performed up to 3 times!

After his stage debut, Craig played both solo and with a full-band at any Honky Tonk or dive that would have him, playing for crowds anywhere from 10 to 2000. One of Craig's first big breaks in the Northwest Arkansas music scene was a weekly show at Maxine's Taproom, the oldest bar in Fayetteville, AR, where he entertained those from all walks of life – from College Students to Drunken Vets to Attorneys to Drunken, Chain Smoking, Coffee Drinking Bar Owners/Managers – i.e. Maxine! It was at the Taproom where Craig truly honed in on his musical talents and the beer drinking theatricals that would later land him on the big stages rubbing elbows with the big acts, and becoming one of these so-called “Big Acts.” Craig and Co. have played venues large and small from the hills to the valleys, and no matter where they're found, the music from The Chris Craig Show has been enjoyed by any and all who truly enjoy “beer drinkin music!” Craig has recently relocated to the NYC area, so be on the look-out for the upbeat and entertaining drinkin and music festival better known as The Chris Craig Show!

Some of the most memorable venues where Craig has performed include Grumpy's and The Underground Pub (both in Little Rock, AR), as well as Maxine's Tap Room, George's Majestic Lounge, Grub's Bar and Grille, On The Rocks Bar and Grille, The Gypsy…and many, many others in the Northwest, AR area and surrounding regions.

Highlights of Chris Alan Craig's career include shared stages with many of the influential performing artists who have helped to contribute to the vocal and stage presence that allow Craig to demand the attention of any room. Some of these artists include Grammy Award Nominated Pat Green, Robert Earl Keen, Charlie Robison, Cory Morrow, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers, and Wade Bowen.
